Annual CLIMMAR Congress with PIGMiUR

18.10.2017

On 6-7 October, another CLIMMAR Congress was held – an international organization of which the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Agricultural Machines and Facilities is a part.

During the congress, the authorities were selected for the next three years. Erik Hogervorst from the Netherlands as a president and vice president Joost Merckx from Belgium, ware re-elected. Ulf Kopplin replaced Ulrich Kopplin as the replacement for Ludger Gude, who was elected for the first time.
Traditionally, each congressional member has presented reports on the functioning of the industry in each country. Also presented are the results of research and analysis conducted within CLIMMAR: industry report and dealer satisfaction index. The results of the latter will traditionally be presented at a press conference at the Hanoverian Agritech.
Participants of the congress also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the presentations of COPA / COGENA, Klaus Pentzlin’s farmers from CEETTAR and Juergen Linder, vice president responsible for distribution at AGCO. It was also an opportunity to talk and ask questions about mutual relations between machine dealers and farmers, companies supporting agriculture and producers.
The purpose of the congress was to discuss and define the challenges facing the agricultural machinery dealers sector in the perspective of the year 2030. The main assumptions and challenges were written up and will soon be developed in the form of an official document.
The next meeting of the organization is planned for the spring of 2018.
