April 24 this year a teleconference was held within the European Commission with the participation of institutions involved in the approval process of vehicles and machinery. It concerned vehicles of categories M, N, L and T.
As we know, due to the current epidemiological threat, there may be difficulties in adjusting to previously adopted provisions. In the case of T-category vehicles, it was postulated to include to postpone the dates of transitional provisions by 12 months before the official implementation of stage V. The European Commission has heard these demands, but no binding decisions have been taken in this direction. We are waiting for further settlements.
