The survey of expectations in the agricultural industry in Poland was conducted by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Agricultural Machines and Facilities at the turn of September and October 2019.
This is another cycle of the survey that was initiated in June 2014 and is repeated every six months. The aim of the survey is to take the entrepreneurs’ opinions on the current situation in the industry and predictions about future economic situation. The final effect is the mood barometer, which numerically presents the result of this study.
The survey takes the form of an online survey conducted among companies in the industry and concerns business conditions and business forecasts for 2019.
Since the last survey cycle, which was carried out in April 2019, not much has changed in the mood. The value of the ratio below zero remains throughout the whole of 2019 and indicates the predominance of negative and pessimistic responses regarding future economic conditions, sales development in companies or investment plans. Unfortunately, pessimistic expectations still dominate, which shows that entrepreneurs are full of concerns about the future economic situation and sales results in 2019.
