Maschio Fienagione completes fusion with Maschio Gaspardo

11.01.2021

Maschio Fienagione S.p.A. merger from Maschio Gaspardo S.p.A. was finalized on December 31, 2020.

Maschio Fienagione has already been part of the Maschio Gaspardo Group since 2014, following the acquisition of the historic company Feraboli S.p.A. from Cremona.

The operation is part of a corporate structure optimization project, enabling improvement of management systems and further reduction of administrative costs for the two companies involved. The merger will also enable new synergies and simplification of production and distribution flow.

The new structure of the company will allow employees who maintain the existing contractual conditions to benefit from the dynamic environment and enjoy greater opportunities for professional development in a group of companies, one of the distinguishing elements of which is investment in development.

The merger is part of the Business Plan (2019-2022) led by CEO Luigi De Puppi, as part of a program that aims to further increase the Group’s operational efficiency worldwide. Maschio Gaspardo now aims to develop and strengthen the business by consolidating the Group’s presence in high-potential markets (China, Japan, Southeast Asia and North America), which will be developed both internally and through strategic partnerships. The plan also includes greater scrutiny of markets in which the Group’s presence is still marginal, such as Africa and South America.

Another driver of strategic development is the enhancement of the product platform dedicated to grassland machinery, with flagship round balers with variable geometry and chamber, with investments to increase the reach and development of electronics and connectivity of equipment designed and manufactured in Cremona.

“The merger of Maschio Fienagione and Maschio Gaspardo is another step for us towards effective cost reduction in favor of structure and process optimization,” commented Mirco Maschio, president of Maschio Gaspardo. This will allow us to have an even more solid position in the markets in which we operate, giving us an impulse for further expansion ”.

“Among the goals of this operation,” added Andrea Maschio, President of Maschio Holding SpA, is to create new synergies that are necessary for the further development of advanced products. The help of new technologies and electronics is now irreplaceable, and functions such as connectivity, the ability to collect and interpret processed data in order to maximize the profits of our customers, are now an integral part of the reality that is growing and playing an increasingly important role also in agriculture ”.

In fact, to meet the needs of farmers, our R&D engineers have strengthened the EXTREME range with the ISOTRONIC Serie 2, where all operating parameters can be easily managed from the tractor’s ISOBUS terminal. In addition, a new drop floor has been introduced that allows you to quickly remove all obstacles without leaving the tractor and the pressure can be regulated up to 210 bar.

A further area of development is the range of baler-wrappers, which reduce field travel, working time and fuel consumption. For example, the MONDIALE 120 COMBI is the best green forage harvesting solution: during harvesting, the crop is cut and wrapped in one operation to preserve the nutritional value of the product.

By combining several operations in one step, our equipment improves agricultural land management in all aspects. Our farmers have intuitive and sustainable technologies that enable them to make better use of their inputs. This makes it easier to achieve the maximum yield in the field, avoiding wasting time and increasing respect for the soil and the environment.
