New factory of the company SaMASZ

Friday, April 13, was a lucky date for SaMASZ. On that day, the company celebrated opening of a new factory in Zabłudów. It is the premium class facility, which will allow the company to double or even treble the production in time. Over 400 visitors participated in the celebrations, including representatives of the Ministry, government agencies, voivodship, town, self-government, and church governments, university and school authorities, banking sector, business support organizations, entrepreneurs from that region and media representatives.

Dealers from Poland and from different countries, including Germany, Russia, Chile, Canada, USA, Iceland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, England, Spain, France, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine, participated in the ceremony. SaMASZ also hosted suppliers, customers, farmers and friends of the company.

The opening ceremony started with President of the Management Board  Antoni Stolarski, Eng. welcoming the official guests and cutting the ribbon at the main entrance, accompanied by his family, representatives of voivodship, self-government and university authorities, and the guest of honour, Mr Hans-Peter Fricke, owner of Fricke-Gruppe. Then the celebrations moved to the hall of the Spare Parts Warehouse, where the company presentation was held. Speakers included Mr Karol Wdziękoński, Sales and Marketing Director, and Mr Leszek Szulc, Technical and Production Director. During the meeting, His Excellency, the  Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda, PhD, and the Parish Priest Mirosław Tomaszewski blessed the factory. A letter of congratulations from Ms Jadwiga Emilewicz, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology was also read. Celebrations also included numerous speeches of guests, wishes, and presenting of commemorative awards and gifts. An important part of the celebrations was a possibility to visit all production and warehouse halls.

SaMASZ purchased an area of 26 ha for the new factory. 13 ha were used for the investment purposes. The buildings and halls cover the area of ca. 3.8 ha, and hard-surfaced roads and yards cover ca. 6.6 ha. At the moment SaMASZ employs 750 people, but ultimately it can employ 1300 people.
