During many years of service activity, AGROAS analyses problems related to the cultivation technique, which include, among others excessive soil compaction intensified by cultivation in periods of intense rainfall, or increased wheel slip, and as a result higher diesel fuel consumption.
In December 2020, the company decided to purchase a CLAAS AXION 900 Series tractor with Terra Trac drive.
“The purchase was preceded by intensive testing of the machine in the 2020 growing season, which led to one conclusion – the future of heavy-duty, powerful machines belongs to the Terra Trac drive. In our opinion, this drive is an alternative to twin tires which, due to their nuisance, will be successively replaced by the track drive. ” – says Marcin Milej, representative of the board of AGROAS.
New grain elevators in Wójtowice, Opolskie voivodeship and the revitalization of the base in Strzegom
In the last months of 2020, we successfully completed an investment in Wójtowice, in the Opolskie voivodeship. New grain elevators were built there. The facility made buying rape and cereal in the harvest much more efficient, but it “showed” its true power during the purchase of corn.
“In 2019, at the base in Wójtowice – with the possibilities at that time – we collected and dried about 7,000 tons of corn, which was a really great achievement. We had a 1000 KW dryer here. In the current season, we assumed the purchase and drying of maize in the amount of 12 thousand tonnes. At the end of November 2020, we already had 17 thousand tonnes of corn accepted and dried. Let us remind you that the new dryer has a burner with a capacity of 4000 KW. Achieving this success would not have been possible without the fantastic crew that mastered how to work with the facility very quickly. Our customers – those from the vicinity of the Wójtowice base – appreciated the efficiency of the service and were willing to come to us. ” – summarizes Daniel Cupriak, CEO of AGROAS.
Also in the last quarter of last year, we completed the revitalization of our base in Strzegom, which is equipped with a railway siding and grain elevators. A huge advertisement illuminated after dusk was hung on the object.
