The CLIMMAR index remains at a good level

19.11.2019

CLIMMAR, an organization founded in 1953, is an international network of distributors of 16 national associations currently representing 19,185 dealers and 158,799 employees in the European agricultural machinery and equipment sector.
Every six months, CLIMMAR asks its 16 member associations about the current industry situation in each country and converts the received information into one number: the CLIMMAR index.

This indicator describes in the range from +3 (best) to -3 (worst) how good or bad the current situation is across Europe. After stagnation in the first half of 2016, this ratio increased from six months to six months until it reached its maximum value in 2017 / II. Then it decreased slightly (to 0.61), but remained at a fairly good level. During the last half-year it reached 0.85 and 0.97, which means, on average, the maintenance of positive conditions. A slight decrease is expected during the autumn half-year.
