Winners of 2017 competitions

During this year’s AGRO SHOW 2017, were organized finals of competitions organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Machinery and Agricultural Equipment: Medal-worthy Mechanic, Medal-worthy Young Mechanic. There were also announced winners of the “Service on Medal” competition.

During this year’s AGRO SHOW 2017, were organized finals of competitions organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Agricultural Machines and Facilities: Medal-worthy Mechanic, Medal-worthy Young Mechanic. There were  also announced winners of the “Service on Medal” competition.

Medal-worthy Mechanic – 6th Edition
It is the oldest competition organized by PIGMiUR. Participant could be an adult person employed on the basis of an employment contract in a service plant of agricultural machines, performing work related to the repair of agricultural machines, as well as an entrepreneur running a service plant of agricultural machinery.

After the eliminations that took place in the spring and during which the participants completed the on-line tests, five finalists faced in the final. They competed during the practical stage, which took place on 21 September 2017 in the Technical School of Environmental Engineering and Agrobusiness in Poznan. The theoretical finale took place in Bednarach during the AGRO SHOW.
The winners of the sixth edition of the “Mechanik on Medal” competition were:
I place – ADAM BAWORSKI
II place – DAWID ŻŁOBICKI
III place – RADOSŁAW KACZMARSKI

Medal-worthy Young Mechanic – V edition
Success of the competition for the mechanics made that the next year the Chamber organized competitions for students of the profession of mechanics of agricultural machinery, so this year already held the fifth edition of the competition for young mechanics. The competition is aimed at pupils of agricultural schools wishing to develop their interests and skills in the field of agricultural machinery maintenance. Young mechanics from schools all over Poland had to do practical tasks and a series of theoretical questions. Previously, they competed by solving on-line tests. During this stage 10 finalists were selected who took part in the final. The students were ambitiously fighting for attractive prizes. In addition, awards were also given to schools whose pupils took 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in the competition.

The winners of the fifth edition of the “Young Mechanic Medalist” competition were:
I place – ADAM KONTOWSKI – ZSR LUTUTÓW
II place – KRZYSZTOF KAŁAT – ZSP1 GNIEZNO
III place – ADAM WIŚNIEWSKI – ZSOiZ MOŃKI

Medal-worthy Service – V edition
The competition has been held for several years in a two-year cycle. After an annual break in 2016, this year again the competition had the next edition. The aim of the competition is to promote service and highlight the important role that service plays in the process of machine operation. The competition is aimed at establishments conducting business activity in the field of servicing agricultural machines and having dedicated and appropriately equipped stations. This year’s competition was very exciting.

The winners of the 5th edition of the competition were:
I place – RAIFFEISEN AGRO-TECHNIK from Śrem
II place – POL-AGRA from Płońsk
III place – PERKOZ from Brodnica
