Unfortunately, after two years of good mood, the index once again was below zero. This means a return to a situation when negative estimations and forecasts for the sector development prevailed. Already in October last year we observed a large increase in negative estimations, compared to the previous survey cycle. So, the bad mood and concerns after a difficult dry year were confirmed, or even progressed.

An average score and the index value result from individual answers. The charts below show results for two crucial questions concerning the foreseen condition of the sector and sales at companies. In both cases we see an increase in negative estimations, versus the results from October 2018. These negative forecasts influence the total index value.
