– We were doing marketing for a Polish manufacturer of polymer sprayers – recalls Agnieszka Bott, co-founder of the company – We have been participating in the AGRO SHOW fair since 2001 and during each exhibition we were asked about “ceramics”. We knew that ALBUZ is very popular in horticulture, but it was brought to Poland by various circular routes, e.g. by Italian companies.

Today, ALBUZ nozzles are sold in Poland mainly through agricultural stores and wholesalers (approx. 93% of total sales). Interestingly, a similar sales pattern is carried out only in Chile. The remaining countries, on all continents, do not have retail sales. Apart from global sales networks, Solcera supplies directly the manufacturers of sprayers.

BOTT AGRO focused on didactics from the very beginning. – The training of sellers took place through the annual Albuz Academy, to which we invited not only French constructors, but also Polish scientists related to the research of atomizers – explains Krzysztof Bott – The lecturers of the Academy were: professor Andrzej Gajtkowski, who conducted the first tests of our nozzles in 70., professor Ryszard Hołownicki, dr Grzegorz Doruchowski, dr Zbigniew Czaczyk or dr Beata Cieniawska. The organization of these conferences was interrupted by the pandemic, but we will return to the lectures as soon as the safety of the guests will allow it.

The most popular aid element for farmers, fruit growers and vineyard owners is the guide, which is received by every customer who buys ALBUZ sprayers. This original study is a compendium of knowledge for sprayer operators. It includes formulas, conversion factors, expense tables, conversion tables and equivalents. – We have included everything in the book – from sketches of hubcaps, assembly diagrams, recommended filters, to the development of RSM concentration converters – lists Krzysztof Bott. – Since 2007, we have provided Polish hosts with over 100,000 copies of the guide …

The pandemic stopped the market launch of the new ALBUZ product. The presentation of the full certification documentation has been postponed to the 2022 season. – What we can say about the new sprayer today is that it meets the most stringent environmental protection restrictions – explains Bartosz Adamiak, field implementation engineer at BOTT AGRO – It is a ceramic ejector field sprayer, in which plant protection has been reduced to 90%, with complete preservation of other treatment parameters.

The newly developed branch is ALBUZ TEC, i.e. technical nozzles, introduced to the agriculture market in the summer of 2020. – These nozzles are dedicated to poultry, pig and cattle breeders for cooling and dust removal of breeding halls – says Jerzy Nowacki, ALBUZ TEC product manager – They can play the same role in vegetable greenhouses or mushroom farms, as well as in other places where it is critical to maintain adequate humidity for the growing process.
