Another design success of Amazone: The Amazone AmaTron 4 ISOBUS terminal received the prestigious iF Design Award 2019. In explanation for granting of the award, an intuitive operation and a unique housing of this tablet-like terminal were emphasised, considering it an exemplary industrial design.
The jury itself tested the new interface and included their opinions in the assessment of the ergonomic aspects of the design. The entire terminal was designed by the company Amazone. The aesthetic appearance and very good functioning of AmaTron 4 were developed by the Amazone design team, who designed both the accessories, and the user’s interface.
The AmaTron 4 terminal ensures simple and fast tablet-like navigation. With its large, anti-glare, 8-inch colour touchscreen, work with complex machines and units is exceptionally smooth even when driving. Navigation between individual applications is exceptionally intuitive due to a “carousel of applications”. A transparent structure of the operating menu is easily and quickly accessible by a finger swipe.
The iF Design Award is one of the most renowned international design awards. It is granted every year to exceptional, innovative, ergonomic and aesthetic products from all fields.
