Twenty thousandth Roll-Belt™press left the New Holland factory in Płock

22.04.2017

The New Holland brand officially presented to its customer the twenty thousandth wrapping baler manufactured at its factory in Płock. This event was one of the main items on the agenda of a meeting ending a series of meetings organised during New Holland Open Door days. It was also a great opportunity to sum up the year and to present company’s plans for the future – also related to acquisition of the Kongskilde brand.

During the meeting the guests can visit the factory, including the production line manufacturing New Holland machines and design offices (97 thousand m2), where Polish engineers work on innovative solutions for combine harvesters, presses and headers. The visitors could also see the complete production process, starting at a “drawing board” up to a moment when finished machines leave the factory. On this day a role of special dedicated guides was played by employees with long-term experience from the Płock factory.

‘It is very important to us to emphasise that our factory manufactures combine harvesters, wrapping balers and headers, and not only assembles them. The factory conducts a complete production process covering much more than assembling alone. Not everybody is aware of that, yet Polish technical knowledge has a very important influence on the final form of our machines’ says Adam Sulak, Business Director New Holland.
One of the key items on the agenda was an official presentation to an end customer of the twenty thousandth wrapping baller from the Roll-Belt™ series that left the production line in Płock.
‘We are very satisfied with the popularity enjoyed by the New Holland presses, and we want to celebrate our successes. Users’ trust in machines under our brand motivates us to continuous improvement of the production process and the equipment itself. With these features combined, for eight years in the row we have remained a leader in tractor sales in Poland’, says Mr Łukasz Chęciński.
He also adds that a meeting at the factory offered an excellent opportunity to discuss issues of crucial importance from a point of view of the company and the agricultural sector.
‘Acquisition of Kongskilde is definitely one of them. They are pioneers in their field, and their brands, Överum, Howard and JF are very highly specialised.
With acquisition of Kongskilde we gain an extensive inheritance and experience of that company. As a result, we will be able to expand our offer with ploughs, seeders and machines for green fodder harvesting, ideally adapted to conditions in the Polish market’, says Mr Łukasz Chęciński.
