We know the finalists of the First-Class Mechanic and Young First-Class Mechanic Contests

12.06.2017

By the end of May, the first stage of competition was ended in the contests held by Polish Chamber of Commerce for Agricultural Machines and Facilities: the First-Class Mechanic and the Young First-Class Mechanic.

The First-Class Mechanic
This year, mechanics are competing for the sixth time. In this competition, as well as, in previous years, employees of servicing centres participate. They have contracts of employment and are involved in the repair of agricultural machines on a daily basis.
The aim of this competition is to select the best mechanic of agricultural machines in Poland in 2017. This is, of course, the fundamental objective, but besides it, the Chamber would like to emphasize the role of qualified personnel to service machines, stimulating the professional development of service technicians and promoting servicing as an important business area.
Participants who had previously logged on to the website had to complete 3 on-line tests, each consisting of 20 questions, with reference to proper servicing, construction and repair of agricultural machines. The elimination phase ended on 31st May, after which the final five participants were selected. This year, in the finals at the AGRO SHOW in Bednary, the following competitors will face each other:
Adam Baworski
Piotr Cybulko
Daniel Jankowski
Radosław Kaczmarski
Dawid Żłobicki

The First Class Young Mechanic
The First Class Young Mechanic Competition is held by the Chamber for the fifth time. Students from agricultural schools, who in the future want to handle professionally the servicing and repair of agricultural machines are the participants. The aim of the competition is to select a student with the best knowledge on agricultural mechanization in Poland in 2017, as well as, develop interest in technical maintenance of agricultural machines, improve knowledge and skills related to agricultural technology and spreading the scientific values of the occupation of agricultural machines mechanics.
Here, similarly to professional mechanics, the participants also completed online tests. The final elimination phase ended at the end of May. Ten finalists have been selected to face the finals on 22nd September, 2017 at the AGRO SHOW  in Bednary. They will be:
