For its refugee work with Schwandorf’s cross cultural training programme HORSCH was awarded the most important HR award in Germany – the HR Excellence Award. On December 2nd 2016, Cornelia Horsch, head of training Anton Grauvogl and head of HR Gerhard Springs received the prize in the Berliner Tipi of the chancellery. HORSCH ranked first in the category “Innovation” and was honoured for the nationwide exemplary character of the project and the courage, the perseverance and the passion that was involved.
The works on the construction of a new SaMASZ plant in the Commune of Zabłudów are on. It is planned to move in already in the fourth quarter of 2017. The construction started in June 2016 and the work is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2017.

On 9th December 2016, at the official opening of the new investment, Dr. Rainer Resch, in charge of the research and development at Amazone, stressed that the test centre was the decisive factor for Amazone’s further technological progress in the field of research and development. Spending on research and development amounts to about 5% of the Amazone group’s turnover.
The New Holland brand officially presented to its customer the twenty thousandth wrapping baler manufactured at its factory in Płock. This event was one of the main items on the agenda of a meeting ending a series of meetings organised during New Holland Open Door days. It was also a great opportunity to sum up the year and to present company’s plans for the future – also related to acquisition of the Kongskilde brand.
It will be purchased by Agco Corporation, a global leader in design, production and distribution of agricultural machines.
Two machines of Metal-Fach from Sokółka were awarded prestigious prizes at the AGROTECH International Fair of Agricultural Technology in Kielce. The machines that the company presented on its stand gave rise to great interest.
